Birla Mandir

The beautiful Birla Mandir has derived its name from the industrialists Birlas who have constructed temples in various parts of the country. The temple is located atop 280-foot high hillock of Kalapahad in Hyderabad. It has drawn its architecture from the amalgamation of the three architectural designs – Rajasthani, South Indian and Utkal temple architecture. It took close to 2000 tonnes of marble to build this extraordinary structure; the marble was brought from Rajasthan.
