The Salar Jung Museum is located on the banks of the Musi River. The Museum has a total of 38 galleries on 2 floors, 20 on the first floor and the remaining 18 on the second.

Birla Mandir

The beautiful Birla Mandir has derived its name from the industrialists Birlas who have constructed temples in various parts of the country. The temple is located atop 280-foot high hillock of Kalapahad in Hyderabad. It has drawn its architecture from the amalgamation of the three architectural designs – Rajasthani, South Indian and Utkal temple architecture. It took close to 2000 tonnes of marble to build this extraordinary structure; the marble was brought from Rajasthan.
